The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

Striving to achieve artistic, vocal and musical exc... moreThe Ma'ayan Choir under the musical direction and conductorship of Ms. Anat Morahg is the official Choir of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality Department of Culture and Arts, comprising of some 45 singers.
Striving to achieve artistic, vocal and musical excellence the Choir singers are graduates of the Rubin Academy of Music Tel Aviv, the School of Choir Singing, music students and graduates of selected youth Choirs, performing a varied repertoire including both classical and contemporary music.
Ma'ayan has performed in official ceremonies held by the municipality; in various festivals such as Tel Aviv –Yafo Festival, Abu Gosh Vocal Music Festival, The Renaissance Festival, "Tones in the Desert" festival, the Jerusalem Arts Festival; in concerts with the Symphonic Orchestras of Jerusalem, Haifa and Rishon Letzion, the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette, Baroquada, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra and the Israeli Opera.
