Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, 7:30 PM The Chapel at Concordia University 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, WI The Milwaukee Choral Artists, Sharon Hansen, conductor, joins the National Lutheran Choir (Minneapolis, Minnesota), David Cherwein, conductor, for this very special, collaborative performance. Paul Rudoi, winner of MCA's 2011 "Young Composer's Composition Competition" and member of Cantus (also based in Minneapolis), has written a special composition for the combined ensembles that will be premiered in Milwaukee, then repeated in two performances when MCA travels to Minneapolis to perform with the National Lutheran Choir on their All Saints' programs November 3 and 4, 2012. These musicians, who are largely self-employed, have been especially hard hit by the Covid-19 restrictions. For our next virtual Concert in the Spring we hope to employ some and we are seeking donations to help make that happen.
