We are a newly formed ensemble of women's voices from Canterbury in Kent. Our repertoire ranges from classical motet to jazz and female barbershop. We perform on a regular basis across Kent and have on going partnership links with choirs in the UK and France.

The Mansfield University Concert Choir is a highly select ensemble of singers, representing some of the finest talent from the American Northeast. While the majority of the singers are undergraduate music majors, membership is open to all students at the university through an audition process. The group has achieved an impressive reputation of excellence, having been chosen each of the last twenty years to perform at conventions or festivals around the country: the Pennsylvania Music educators State Conference; the Eastern division Music educators National Conference; the Music educators National Convention; the American Choral directors Association Pennsylvania State Conference, and the ACDA Eastern division Convention. The choir is renowned on the international stage as well, representing the US at competitions and festivals around the world. This chant, harmonized beautifully by Swedish composer Oswald Jaeggi, was recorded in November of 2019 before the pandemic. It is a reminder of the peace that prayer and beauty can provide. For years, the ensemble has used an arrangement of Irish Blessing to welcome new members and bid farewell to graduating seniors. After nearly two decades of performing the same version, my former high school director, Matt Wanner, reached out to me in 2026 with the opportunity to create a new arrangement of this cherished tradition. In writing this setting, I sought to create something both accessible and meaningful, while providing opportunities to feature students, whether graduating seniors or gifted soloists, in a special way. It is my hope that this arrangement will become a meaningful part of the ensemble’s tradition and hold a special place in the hearts of its members for many years to come.  display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less
