Hier sehen Sie den Gospelchor Rejoice zusammen mit dem Solisten und Chorleiter Roland Orthaus beim Wettbewerb Spiritual mit dem Lied "I want Jesus to walk with me" von Moses Hogan. Der Gospelchor gewann in beiden Kategorien die Silbermedaille.

Sancta Sunniva Chamber Choir from Bergen, Norway, have with this new cd reinvented a selection of the old hymns used in the Norwegian church, experimenting with new resonances and sounds.

Find a score sample and order information at http://cschurch.net/en/compositions/Choir/o-magnum-mysterium/ A recent wonderful live-performance of my setting of this famous text that has inspired so many composers over the centuries. In my attempt, “O magnum mysterium” returns three times after the first statement, in a similar gesture but each time shifted to a new tonality with even more flats. Thus, the listener gets ever more pulled into this magnificent text until the piece culminates in a jubilant “Alleluia” in C-major, having come full-circle back to very first harmony we heard.  less
