It has 170 singing members in soprano, alto, tenor and bass sections. Presenting classical choral music of a professional standard in Yorkshire and elsewhere in Britain, including at the BBC Proms and Manchester Arena, the Chorus is broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 3. The Leeds Festival Chorus was first formed in 1858 (the year Queen Victoria opened the Leeds Town Hall) to sing at the first Leeds Musical Festival, and was reformed for each succeeding one. The Chorus became independent in 1985. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2008 with a performance of a specially-commissioned work by Judith Bingham - a world premiere. A choral group made up of Energetic, devoted and dedicated youth with the aim of spreading the word of God through music. Serenity Chorale fills hearts with God's peaceful Harmony . The group was established at SDA College of Education, Asokore Koforidua.

We were founded by musician Shona Brown in 2009 with 3 Choirs and now are 4 community Choirs across Bearsden and Lanarkshire with around 180 members. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across the local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison Choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less

We do a wide variety of music from Renaissance to contemporary and from a cappella to works with chamber orchestra. We are a fun loving, very friendly group.
