The "Joy Voices Youth Choir" is a Choir located in Casalmaggiore (Cremona, in the north of Italy) that prefers music of Anglo-Saxon tradition, gospel and spiritual, and it is directed since 2008 by Maestro Abele Zani. The Choir has sung in many ...  moreThe "Joy Voices Youth Choir" is a Choir located in Casalmaggiore (Cremona, in the north of Italy) that prefers music of Anglo-Saxon tradition, gospel and spiritual, and it is directed since 2008 by Maestro Abele Zani. The Choir has sung in many cities in Italy and abroad, and has more than 300 performances to its credit.  

We are a fun, informal Choir singing songs from shows, films and charts - past and present. We welcome members of all abilities and experience. We meet in 2 venues in Norfolk, close to Wroxham and Norwich.

Named after the latin name of the City of Lisbon, Grupo Vocal Olisipo began its activity in 1987. Besides singing some of the most impor...  moreNamed after the latin name of the City of Lisbon, Grupo Vocal Olisipo began its activity in 1987. The group’s repertory is quite wide and eclectic and ranges from sacred and secular early music to contemporary works. Besides singing some of the most important Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, by composers such as Victoria, Palestrina, Byrd, Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel and Bach, the group has also premiered several contemporary pieces and made first modern auditions of many Portuguese Renaissance and Baroque works. Christopher Bochmann, Ivan Moody, Bob Chilcott, Luis Tinoco, Eurico Carrapatoso and Vasco Mendonça are some of the composers who dedicated works to Grupo Vocal Olisipo. Grupo Vocal Olisipo attended several masterclasses led by some of the world leading vocal ensembles, such as The King's Singers and the Hilliard Ensemble and was coached in the performance of Baroque music by Jill Feldman. In each of us, these individuals are like giants who, much like glaciers, move mountains and sculpt valleys, paving the way for us to find our destiny. Through the simplest and most primitive elements of life, we find the essence of what shapes us day by day. Winner of the first prize in Warsaw International Choir Festival 2007. Our repertoire contains International music, but especially Arabic songs from different heritages (Lebanese, Palestinian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Syrian, Mouashah...). And for the first time, we have Arabic songs arranged with quarter tones. Our aim is to show the real civilized image of the Arab world and to spread our rich Music.
