We sing a variety of music which, in some cases, is arranged by Charles. We rehearse, with a break for chat and refreshment at St Leonards Primary School in Exeter on Wednesday evenings.  

We sing contemporary acappella: unaccompanied close harmony arrangements of jazz, pop, gospel and do-wap classics, including original arrangements by our members.

The ensemble performed as an auditioned professional ensemble at The 2010 MN ACDA convention, and shortly after was invited to perform as a premier professional ensemble at The 2011 ICDA Summer Symposium. From Age to Age was highlighted as a "Regional Spotlight" group on Minnesota Public Radio in 2010 and will be featured on The Classical Minnesota Public Radio Holiday CD "A Taste of The Holidays", vol. II coming this December. The CD is a joint collaboration with The nationally syndicated radio show "The Splendid Table". The group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from The likes of The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of The Blue, The group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to The Black Eyed Peas, via pop, jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as They offer a programme of sumptuous jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe, The Refrains enjoyed a sold-out London debut at The Forge, Camden. Recent gigs have included The London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Silver Bullet and private events. Innismara made its debut in The summer of 2010 at Muses and Minstrels: A Festival of Early Performing Arts held in conjunction with The Cupids 400 celebrations. In collaboration with The Hot Earth Ensemble, Innismara performed music from The late Renaissance and early Baroque, highlights of which were recorded for national broadcast on CBC Radio. As a Corporate Motivation product, Tolga Gülen has been working with companies on PoliPop since 2011. Deciding to offer PoliPop outside of corporate participation, it was implemented within The body of "Kadıköy Municipality Volunteer Counseling and Training Center". PoliRock, togeTher with PoliPop, became Turkey's second modular Chorus project. There is no notation and exam system in PoliRock. Tolga Gülen has been using his own song learning technique that he developed during his work with corporate companies for years. PoliRock is open to The participation of anyone who wants to sing.
