Directed by Hilary Campbell, a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, The group was formed a decade ago, while The singers were studying at The University of York, and relocated to London in 2007. In York, Blossom Street filmed a medley of Christmas carols for BBC2, which was broadcast during The snooker final in 2005, and since Then has performed nationwide and beyond. They sang to Prince Charles on ITV1 as part of his 60th birthday celebrations, and gave Their debut in Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of The Voicelab series in 2009. Our repertoire is diverse, and we are open to all church members and also to anyone who is friendly to The church. No special requirements. We are stretching ourselves to be better music readers and vocal technicians, and also to be able to learn music by ear, memorize simpler songs quickly, and be free in our bodies while singing.

Initially formed in 1987 simply as a means for those interested to gaTher togeTher to sing, more formal concerts were later organized and presented.
In addition to two planned concerts a year (a Christmas concert in The Fall and a Spring concert), There are frequently requests from local organizations for appearances. for example, in The spring of 2011, The group performed at The Wright BroThers Monument for The Centennial of The Wright BroThers Glider Flight.
The repertoire of The Outer Banks Chorus ranges from The Classical to Broadway, and spirituals of all kinds and in different languages. Recently The chorus has sung a number of premiere performances of pieces by contemporary composers.
All are invited to hear The chorus sing exceptionally lovely and wonderful choral music.
