The Choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting Choirs and enjoy joining with other youth Choirs in concerts. We have a training Choir for younger singers, and a Choir for boys whose voices have changed.

The Choir has a wide-ranging repertoire – from traditional sacred music to modern, contemporary compositions, popular arrangements and music from around the world. They perform regular concerts in London and the South East, as well as touring each year, with recent trips including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece. In 2025 the Choir celebrated their 10th Birthday year, and the 25th anniversary of the founding of Northern Spirit Singers. Rehearsing monthly in central London, Southern Spirit Singers aim to perform the very highest standards of choral music in a relaxed and fun environment. In 2019 the Choir returned with four gold medals from the European Choir Games in Gothenburg. Last July, over 100 BIG Sing members flash mobbed the Maldon Tesco Store and the YouTube video has had over 16,000 views, raising money for Cancer Research UK. As well as community events, The BIG Sing have hosted their own sold out shows in Essex and have many more coming up this year! As The BIG Sing grows we are continuing to reach out to more people of all ages and backgrounds. We aim to unite people with uplifting music and have seen the Choir members grow in confidence, experience the thrill of performing on stage, make new friends and belong to a new Choir family.
