The cornerstone of the Chorus ...  moreAs a nationally recognized choral organization offering musical training and performance to a diverse group of choristers, the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus has provided an artistic and cultural resource in Tucson for 75 years. The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present. The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and other repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites. Additionally, the Chorus represents the Tucson community as a world renowned choral organization. It has toured throughout the U.S. and many countries around the world. These were Chacewater & District Male Choir and Carnon Vale Male Choir. We aim to be the most entertaining male voice choir in the South West and for the City of Truro to be proud of us. The ethos of the choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away. We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year  less

We aim to be a "A Choir of Note" in New Zealand. As Dunedin’s leading exponent of large-scale choral works, the choir strives for the highest standards in performing the classics of the repertoire, such as Bach’s St Matthew Passion, and Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Messiah, the Beethoven Ninth and Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. In addition, the choir has performed major new compositions by New Zealand composers, such as Missa Pacifica by David Hamilton in 2006, and John Drummond’s The Journey Home in 2012. For its 125th anniversary the choir commissioned a new work from Malcolm (Jack) Speirs: Cantico del Sole, and for its 150th anniversary celebrations the choir commissioned a new work from Christopher Marshall: For What Can Be More Beautiful?. Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.
