Children learn to sing together, about vocal development and musicianship, and most importantly have fun! The Choir will give regular performances in and around Fulham. Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s Choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The Choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other Choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber Choir. For ages 8 - 18+, the Choir generally performs several concerts per year, not including religious servies or regular tours. We sing traditional classical literature arranged specifically for the Choir, folk songs, and other works written for trebles. We also sing classical sacred music for various religious servies.

The Choir performs concerts each semester and also sings at Remembrance Day ceremonies, convocation ceremonies, and other events on campus and in the Community. We are a volunteer, non-auditioned group open to all, but Choir members are expected to regularly attend rehearsals and the semester retreat, and to practice their parts on their own time. We usually put up practice files under “Resources” (members-only access) so that you can download your part and listen to it on whatever portable music-playing device you own. No musical experience is needed, but the ability to read music is an asset (if you can't read music, we'll help you learn).  less
