The second performance of The newly commissioned "City Songs" by Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds, Australian poet Emma Jones and narrator Imogen Heap.
The work was commissioned by The Voices Now Festival and first performed in The Roundhouse, London, June 2013. The second performance took place on Friday 25th October 2013 in St. Columb's Hall, Derry as part of The inaugural Choral festival.
This second performance featured The Holst Singers and Roundhouse Choir from London, Codetta, Encore Contemporary Choir, Colmcille Ladies and The Music Promise Junior Choir from Derry and The Orchestra of Ireland, conducted by Stephen Layton. less

Since its foundation in 1994, Choir KORAIS has a particularly strong presence in The Choral movement of our country, organizing large events, in collaboration with famous Greek composers, songwriters, performers of The classical repertoire and personalities of arts.
The Choir has held Concerts in many cities of Greece and abroad, and made a special appearance in Cuba, where it performed a Concert in The CaThedral of St. Francis of Assisi, in Havana, invited by The Cuban Ministry of Culture.
The two Concerts with The popular oratorio "AXION ESTI" of Mikis Theodorakis at Thessaloniki Palais des Sports and The "CARMINA BURANA" at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, performed in collaboration with Thessaloniki’s State Symphony Orchestra (under The Cultural Olympiad), are The Choir’s most important moments until now.
