Mandskoret of 1914 are a group of adult, personable men who like to sing, from the experienced to the new Singers. Mandskoret av 1914 Mandskoret er en usedvanlig sprek 100 åring, og er Haugesund eldste mannskor. I Mandskoret av 1914 er vi en gjeng med voksne, omgjengelige menn som liker å synge – fra de rutinerte, til helt nye sangere. 
 Mannskor mer enn bare sang Det handler om opplevelser knyttet til deltakelse, måten vi tar vare på hverandre og den spesielle sosiale aktiviteten. Mannskor favner mer om kvaliteten i musikkaktiviteten, enn kanskje den musikalske kvaliteten. Mannskor er også en viktig bærer av solide tradisjoner i vårt samfunn. Korsang er videreføring av tradisjon. Korsang er en verdifull aktivitet som fremmer livskvalitet. Mannskorsangen er en meningsfull aktivitet som gir helsemessige gevinst. The choir welcomes new members at the...  moreThe Gettin’ Higher Choir seeks to embrace and celebrate humanity’s highest aspirations through music, welcoming people of all ages and cultures. We are not associated with any particular religion or spiritual path. The choir welcomes new members at the beginning of each season in September and February. There is no audition, and no vocal experience is required, just a desire to sing in harmony with others. Our aim is to re-integrate singing into the daily routines of life. We sing for the pure joy and pleasure it gives us, in an atmosphere that is fun, relaxed, and accepting. Our repertoire consists of both traditional and new songs from many cultures. The majority are sung a cappella (unaccompanied) in 4-part harmony. The choir is divided into three chapters, each practicing the same material on either Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Fulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur chamber choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camer...  moreFulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur chamber choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camerata to tackle exciting repertoire and maintain high musical standards while fostering the careers of young professionals. The choir also offers choral scholarships to promising young soloists which provides vocal support for the amateur choir, and fosters career development for the scholars. The amateur and ensemble groups come together for at least three main concerts a year with additional Christmas concerts, sometimes with orchestra. The amateur choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30pm  less

Called a “mighty fortress of skill” by the Washington Post, the Wartburg Choir is one of three college musical ensembles that tour internationally on a triennial basis. Beyond tours, the choir receives invitations for special appearances in the United States and abroad, most recently to participate in the December 2011 White House Holiday Concert Series. As part of that trip to Washington, D.C., the choir also sang at the National Cathedral’s Bethlehem Prayer Service, which was simulcast worldwide. In 2006, the choir performed with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague at the invitation of Maestro Paul Freeman, CNSO music director and chief conductor, who had attended Wartburg Choir concert at Orchestra Hall in Chicago.
