Formed in 2017, The members come from The island of Ireland and beyond, encompassing a huge range of musical experiences. The musical connection of The group to Ireland is deep and spans all The traditions present here. The songs and texts date back as far as The Viking raids on Ireland in The 9th century, through to music created by The men Themselves under The direction of Their Artistic Director Michael McGlynn. This year The group release Their debut album, "M'ANAM" in The Autumn, and are featured artists on The opening track "Clarity" of The latest album by acclaimed Japanese Jazz-rock Ensemble Mouse on The Keys whose 3rd album "tres" was released this May to universal acclaim. Their first digital single "Bandó Ribineann" is released this June.  less

Rendezvous was formed in 2008 by music majors studying Jazz at Humber College in Toronto. Since Then, Their barbershop/a cappella Jazz music has taken Them all over The world to perform and compete. They are active members of The barbershop community, especially with heavy involvement in The online community of barbershoppers and multitrackers. Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself eiTher as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as Jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 The thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to The promotion of our region, The «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to The development of choral singing (see examples below). Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under The scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974.
