The choir's music is arranged by ch... moreDo You Hear The People Sing? are The multi award-winning vibrant, contemporary choir based in Bournemouth. They specialise in modern musical Theatre and performance but also sing oTher genres including Pop and gospel. The choir's music is arranged by choir leader Nicole Dawson who is a trained composer and arranger.
Rehearsals are every Wednesday at 7.30pm at Priory Hall, Christchurch and The choir perform regularly all over The South Coast.
New members are currently being accepted for The summer term 2016, entry is by informal, private audition.

With a large repertoire ranging from art to Popular music, and stretching from The medieval to The contemporary in style, this choir gives many concerts throughout The academic year, both in Ireland and abroad. Following a competitive selection process each September, eighteen gifted students are awarded a scholarship, with recipients of The award coming from a range of academic disciplines across The university, from Music to Medicine, Law, Agricultural Science, Commerce and Engineering.
The choir regularly broadcasts on Irish television and radio. Since its formation in 1999, The group frequently performs with orchestras, including The RTÉ Concert Orchestra, The Earley Musicke Ensemble and The European Union Chamber Orchestra, and on The university campus with The UCD Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Choir. All sessions run from 1pm to 4pm, and are being held at Phoenix Community Centre, Brighton, BN2 9ND (except 08/11/2015)
I am running five sessions. Everyone is welcome, and no previous singing experience is necessary.
Each session will introduce new songs, as well as continuing to work on a core repertoire.
