We perform in Reigate, Surrey & wonderful venues in the UK & on tour. We welcome enquiries to join us, become a friend or to hear about our varied and exciting concert programme.  

Acalanes High School has a 74 year tradition of choral excellence. Our program consists of 5 choirs; Chorale, Women's Ensemble, Concert choir, Bella Voce and Chamber Singers. We also have C.A.P. Our program consists of 5 choirs; Chorale, Women's Ensemble, Concert choir, Bella Voce and Chamber Singers. We also have C.A.P. (Contemporary A Cappella Project), Women's Octet, and the Innuendos. The last three are co-curricular and the last two are student directed.

Répétitions Les répétitions ont lieu le mercredi soir de 20.00 à 22.00, rue Nerié, Alzonne Nouveaux Membres Les nouveaux membres sont toujours bienvenus. Alzonne choir is a group of about 25 singers, mainly French, with some English-speaking members too. Rehearsals Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings from 20.00 to 22.00 at rue Nerié, Alzonne. Koncertā pašreizējam kora mākslinieciskajam vadītājam Mārcim Imantam un diriģentam Rūdolfam Krēsliņam pievienosies vēl trīs diriģenti -- Juris Kļaviņš, Jānis Lindenbergs un Jānis Zirnis. Ar „Juventus" muzicēs Valsts kamerorķestris „Sinfonietta Rīga", radot košu un kontrastiem bagātu muzikālo vēstījumu. Koncertā tiks atskaņoti latviešu komponistu Pētera Vaska, Artura Maskata, Imanta Ramiņa skaņdarbi un cittautu klasiķu -- Semjuela Bārbera un Džona Tavenera kompozīcijas. Term starts next Wednesday 4th September. Rehearsals fee is £5 per session bu...  moreThe details: We are the Dover House Singers, a local choir based in Putney. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 8-9.15pm at St Margaret's Church Hall on Putney Park Lane. Term starts next Wednesday 4th September. Rehearsals fee is £5 per session but there is no charge for your first attendance. About us: We are a local friendly choir that has been going for several years now. We currently have about 30 members and we sing a wide range of music from all around the world. We sing both acapella and with piano accompaniment but there is no requirement to be able to read music. We put on concerts twice a year and recently enjoyed singing at the Barnes Fair. We also meet outside rehearsal times for social events! Recruitment: We would love to recruit new members and welcome anyone that wants to come along and see what it's all about. An Open World, When I Land and and the Wind are three settings of poems from FletcherLaVallee...  moreWHEN I Land for unaccompanied SATB mixed choir, is from THREE GNOSTIC POEMS, by Greg Bartholomew, here performed by the Orlando Chorale under Gregory Ruffer. An Open World, When I Land and and the Wind are three settings of poems from FletcherLaVallee Bartholomew's collection entitled "and the Wind: Gnostic Poems 1945 - 1979." Minneapolis native Fletcher Bartholomew spent most of his life in aviation, beginning with a childhood flight in a Curtis Robin in 1929. His work in aviation started with a job as an inspector in an aircraft factory. He went on to become a test pilot in World War II, serving at the South India Air Depot at Bangalore, India. He often spoke later of his experience on the ship to India and the people he met travelling around the subcontinent. He subsequently worked in aviation in Munich, Germany, and in Lima, Peru, before he concluded his career working in airport planning and management.  less
