She has more hair than she needs; In the sun 'tis a woe to me! And her voice is a string of colored beads, Or steps leading into the sea. She loves me all that she can, And her ways to my ways resign; But she was not made for any man, And she never will be all mine. It specializes in choral and early music—notably Renaissance, Baroque, and rarely heard repertoire—and is dedicated to delivering emotionally resonant, historically informed performances. Winner of the Chorus America/ASCAP Alice Parker Award, Crescendo invites choral singers to audition for its 22nd season.This season, our repertoire spans 16th-century motets, works by Johann Sebastian Bach, and contemporary music in the Piazzolla style, featuring the U.S. premiere of Martín Palmeri’s A Jewish Cantata (2022). We Annually we perform two large concerts with professional soloists and orchestral musicians in Carlow, ‘Glory of Christmas’ in the National Concert Hall and annual ‘Christmas Crackers’ family concert in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow. We have a remarkable repertoire of many choral works such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. Mathews & St. John Passion, Verdi’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation & Seasons, Brahm’s Requiem & many more. Au fil des années, la chorale a gagné en maturité artistique et les choristes qui rejoignaient les différents pupitres portaient désormais à leur actif des aptitudes Vocales, musicales et humaines. Le répertoire chanté a également évolué vers des chants plus sophistiqués avec des polyphonies et des arrangements plus complexes mais qui gardent élégance et légèreté. Accompagnant cette évolution humaine et artistique marquant sa migration d’un chœur de jeunes à un chœur d’adultes, le Chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca a dû changer de dénomination et a adopté un nom autant fidèle à son identité qu’à sa nouvelle structure. Dès lors, le chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca devient « Chorale CASASAWT ».
