Nel 2008 Gabriella lascia il coro e viene sostituita brevemente dal M° Benedetto Fiori e, in seguito, da Marta De Colle. Attualmente il direttore è Gino V. Ruoso con cui il coro mantiene il carattere popolare e di montagna, con ampliamento a brani di autori contemporanei.  less

We are located in Oslo an has a very broad repertoar from medieval to contemporary Music. We sing in many languages and in many genres; classical, church Music, romantic songs, folk Music, jazz; with our main focus in classical Music. We have been singing for 15 years and held concerts in several European capitals. Taking our singing seriously, we are a very social singers who likes to perform with other Choirs or Musicians.

The Choir consists of participants in workshop weeks, which are offered twice a year in different European countries. Overtone singing is a new Vocal technique that allows for singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as Choir improvisations and contemporary Music. The effect of controlled overtones on the timbre of classical Choir compositions is explored with special ear training.  

Bray Choral Society is a successful Choir performing a wide range of choral works including major works by Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn and Rossini, along with short concerts and recitals including Byrd, Bach, Elgar, Stanford an...  moreBray Choral Society is a successful Choir performing a wide range of choral works including major works by Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn and Rossini, along with short concerts and recitals including Byrd, Bach, Elgar, Stanford and also works by composers of the 20th and 21st centurys such as Orff, Rutter, Bodley, De Barra, Jenkins, Goodall, Whitacre, Gjeilo and Blackford. We have taken part in many choral competitions around Ireland with Success in New Ross, Arklow, Navan, Sligo and Cork. In 2013 we joined Wide Open Music in a performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which was received with great enthusiasm. In the same year we also joined Opera Theatre Company for two performances in their tour to promote young Irish soloists. In recognition of the millennium year and augmented by local Choirs from around the country, we performed the Verdi Requiem to great acclaim in both Bray and Arklow.
