music composed and performed by David W Solomons [aka the dwsChorale].
This particular setting was composed with a small mixed-ability choir

splitting to four parts (SATB) occasionally, where the words suggest it.
The musical style is reminiscent of the 19th century although the piano
part does go into 20th century style syncopation at times.

Additional support comes from private foundations, including the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, as well as gifts from the general public, and the 19/19/19 Campaign.

Along with their concert performances, ChorSymphonica has developed a unique concert experience, called Conversation Concerts. We continue to produce these educational and musical events along with traditional (non-lect... less

This dynamic piece includes all facets of our VOICES, Sax & Syn concert: singers, pre-recorded sound, two saxophones and synthesizer. Birds singing. Robotic VOICES. Percussion. Funky bass. Poignant harmonies. Expressive lyricism. Groovy syncopation. This is truly a modern setting of the Song of Mary!
