SINGERS: Valley Chamber Chorale members are talented singers committed to a high Standard of performance. Just as our concerts display a dynamic diversity in programming and instrumentation, so do our singers reflect marvelous variety. Our members are educators and students, physicians and attorneys, stay-at-home moms, clergy, pilots, corporate executives and professional musicians. Some have sung with The Chorale for more than 30 years – some have sung just a year. Chorale members tend to be actively involved in The community and sing with The group as a way to share The gift of music with our St. Croix Valley audiences. The choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during Their participation in different musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of The cultural and geographic circumstances which make of The Canary Islands a multicultural place. A remarkable feature of The group is Their willingness to innovate within The choral music. Their versatility and The variety of repertoire They face can be seen in The different projects They have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. We are an auditioned chamber choir of 30-40 members who love sharing The joy of choral singing with each oTher and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances.
