The poem has a clear structure (verse – chorus), and the vocal parts are kept straightforward. The striking piece contains some jazzy chords and humorously unexpected twists. This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.

Celebrating world music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and the choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Both groups enjoy performing at our own and other local community events and festivals.  

A group of teachers with exceptional talents, with 28 members that can bring you to a experience where classical and show presentations is present. We believe that music touches us emotionally where, words alone cant.

The Concert Choir gives a number of performances in Southern California every year, and has also toured in Canada, Hawaii, Europe, and the United States. The Concert Choir performs a variety of accompanied and unaccompanied repertoire, and collaborates annually with the CSUF University Singers to present performances of choral-orchestral masterworks. They have joined the University Singers in performances with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Pacific Symphony OrchestrA. Bray Choral Society is a successful choir performing a wide range of choral works including major works by Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn and Rossini, along with short concerts and recitals including Byrd, Bach, Elgar, Stanford an...  moreBray Choral Society is a successful choir performing a wide range of choral works including major works by Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn and Rossini, along with short concerts and recitals including Byrd, Bach, Elgar, Stanford and also works by composers of the 20th and 21st centurys such as Orff, Rutter, Bodley, De Barra, Jenkins, Goodall, Whitacre, Gjeilo and Blackford. We have taken part in many choral competitions around Ireland with Success in New Ross, Arklow, Navan, Sligo and Cork. In 2013 we joined Wide Open Music in a performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which was received with great enthusiasm. In the same year we also joined Opera Theatre Company for two performances in their tour to promote young Irish soloists. In recognition of the millennium year and augmented by local choirs from around the country, we performed the Verdi Requiem to great acclaim in both Bray and Arklow.
