As a part of the historic community of Worcester Cathedral, the choir has gained a reputation for musical sensitivity and ground breaking performance. The choir was founded in 1998 by its musical director, Stephen Shellard, in order to draw together a group of High quality Singers from the local area to develop a concert repertoire and further enrich the choral tradition of Worcester Cathedral. The establishment of the choir made history as, for the first time since its foundation nearly 1000 years ago, Worcester Cathedral included women's voices as a part of its musical life.  less

The MCHS Men's Ensemble is a group of no more than 12 young men who rehearse and perform with the Memorial,Composite High School Music Department. This group of young men are known for their High energy performances of many different styles of music.

Currently numbering 18 Singers, FCC has a broad repertoire featuring everything from early music and traditional pieces to the works of contemporary composers such as Whitacre, Pärt, Lauridsen and McMillan, and is Highly regarded at home and abroad. In 2011, we travelled to Trondheim, Norway, to take part in Sangforening, a major festival featuring hundreds of Norwegian choirs, and were the first ever foreign choir invited to take part. 2012 saw us visit Languedoc, France, where we gave concerts in beautiful old churches in Alzonne and Montréal, near Carcassonne. We are active in radio and television, having featured in many broadcasts of recorded and live services by the Irish national broadcaster RTE, including one recorded in Swords CoI church which was broadcast on Christmas day, 2010 and Easter and Advent services in 2012 and 2013. We rehearse in Balfron Ch...  moreThe Strathendrick Singers is an amateur choir of some fifty Singers, which draws its members from the villages in the Valley of the River Endrick. Members come from Balfron, Killearn, Drymen, Kippen, Aberfoyle and further afield. We rehearse in Balfron Church on Monday nights at 7.30. We are under the musical direction of Mark Evans, and perform publicly at both Christmas and Spring.
