His initial claim was also to promote new soloists a...  more The Rías Baixas Choir was presented in Vigo in January 2014 with the purpose of replacing the lack of choral formations that could collaborate with orchestras and chamber groups in Galicia (NW Spain). His initial claim was also to promote new soloists and serve as a tool for new and established composers specially from the Rias Baixas area. The choir already has more than sixty performances, both self-managed and scheduled in various cycles or festivals such as Outono Lírico, Vigo Sinfónico, Barcia de Mera Religious Music Series, Nas Ondas, Portico Sonoro, Explurart, Cooltural Cambados and II Festival Groba. In these performances they have interpreted several fundamental works of the choral repertoire in all kind of stages of the four Galician provinces, both a capella and with instrumental accompaniment. We have developed a reputation for excellent performance of interesting and challenging programmes for singers, players and audiences alike. Repertoire spans Vocal works from the eleventh century to the present day including several Baroque present-day premières, with musicians drawn from recognised professional period ensembles.

Het doel van Miracle Sound is om het Barbershopzingen bekend te maken bij een groter publiek maar vooral: plezier maken! Het repertoire bestaat uit evergreens, love- en popsongs, musicals en ballads. Uiteraard allemaal gezongen in Barbershop-stijl, dus zonder muzikale begeleiding!  less

Tracing its beginnings to the year 1921, the ACGC was formed to answer the need for liturgical music in San Ignacio Church, in Manila. The choir has then pioneered many firsts as a Filipino chorale group and student organization. Locally, they have triumphed in numerous competitions, including the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA). The ACGC has then on proudly carried the name of the Philippines during their International Tours in Europe, Asia, and North America. Since 2002, Professor Maria Lourdes V. Hermo leads the ACGC as the group’s first female conductor. Under her baton, the group has released two commercial recordings. In 2006, the group participated in numerous European competitions, where they swept all prizes in Miltenberg, Germany and garnered high awards in Arezzo, Italy.
