Full Circle sing songs of all styles in three or four part harmony. You do not need to read music and there are no auditions. We sing for fun and socialise outside of choir. We love to perform, especially for charity.

These dynamic and talented singer...  moreThe SYC was formed in 1998, as children's choir Singers grew and voices changed! This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. These dynamic and talented Singers range in age from 14-25, and include young women in gr.11 and higher, and young men with changed voices. The SYC annually participates in the Family Christmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also stage an Orchestra concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK. They were ecstatic to receive 8th place standing in the Mixed Voices category at a festival that boasts participants from over 50 different countries. The ensemble prepares concerts twice a year, singing highly diverse repertoire, ranging from renaissance compositions to contemporary music and everything in between. This was the first group to become active at Academia Concerto in 2005 and during this time has made significant projects such as the participation in the Opera "Il Capulletti ed Il Montecchi" by Bellini, with first complete performance in Brazil in São Pedro Theatre - São Paulo, sang the American Musical "Video Games Live" with composer Jack Wall, made a joint presentation with the American choir "BYU Singers", performed Vivaldi’s "Beatus Vir" RV 579 for two choirs and orchestra with Madrigal Mackenzie.
