With an international cast of singers we are a living proof that true musical beauty and wisdom know no borders - neither national nor spiritual. It was the official choir of the Masaryk University in Brno between 1999 and 2003. Since then it has continued as a civic association. In 2003 Štěpán Policer took up the artistic leadership of Gaudeamus, since 2007 Dáša Karasová has been leading the choir. The choir has been undoubtedly contributing to the advancement of Brno musical culture by giving Concerts and appearing at benefit events annually. On its first attempt at ...  moreFormally organized in August 2006, the Ars Cantica Ensemble is a choral group composed of young professionals from different University choirs who want to spread the Word of God through musical talent and commitment to service. On its first attempt at competitions in 2007, the group won Second Runner-Up in the prestigious PAGCOR Chorale Festival and was chosen as one of the top five winners in the Paskong Himig sa Lungsod ng PASIG Chorale Competition. In December 2007, the Ars Cantica Ensemble was featured at the Opening Ceremonies of the Amazing European Union Christmas held at The Podium, Ortigas and was one of the choirs invited to grace the Sing For Me Project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. In February 2010, Ars Cantica Ensemble emerged as one of the winners in Sa ‘Yo Lamang Chorale Fest, a choral competition sponsored by ABS-CBN and Star Records.
