It was the official choir of the Masaryk University in Brno between 1999 and 2003. Since then it has continued as a civic association. In 2003 Štěpán Policer took up the artistic leadership of Gaudeamus, since 2007 Dáša Karasová has been leading the choir. The choir has been undoubtedly contributing to the advancement of Brno musical culture by giving concerts and appearing at benefit events annually. We are a newly formed ensemble of women's voices from Canterbury in Kent. Our repertoire ranges from classical motet to jazz and female barbershop. We perform on a regular basis across Kent and have on going partnership links with choirs in the UK and France.
