As Australia’s pre-eminent co-educational children’s choir, AYC is committed to providing young singers aged seven years old to senior high School years, with vocal tuition, performance and learning experiences that encourage the enjoyment of singing and learning music, teamwork, good communication and self-esteem. For many years the blue and gold robes of the Australian Youth Choir have featured at cultural events that shape our nation. The Australian Youth Choir has a rich tradition in choral music education, educating thousands of choristers throughout Australia. Choir Lesson Program Choir and singing lessons follow a set choral curriculum structure to develop the following skills on a weekly basis: Choral repertoire Sight singing / memory training Voice production Breathing techniques Performance and stagecraft skills Lessons also include rehearsal of selected music for two annual performances.  less

Choristers are committed to creating a unified ensemble sound, dedicated to bringing the choral arts into the community, and engaged in improving their vocal skills under the expert leadership of Artistic Director Mervin William Fick.

Each season we perform choral mast...  moreThe Nashoba VAlley Chorale is a mixed-voice Chorus with 90+ members based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of The Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from All walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less

Zur Zeit bestehen die CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN aus 56 Sängerinnen und Sänge...  moreBei den CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN handelt es sich um einen Kinder- und Jugendchor des Gymnasiums Illertissen, der seit September 2001 besteht und einen Auswahlchor dieser Schule darstellt. Zur Zeit bestehen die CHORKIDS ILLERTISSEN aus 56 Sängerinnen und Sängern im Alter von 11 bis 16 Jahren. Mit viel Freude und Engagement proben diese Kinder bzw. Jugendlichen einmal in der Woche je nach Stimmgruppe zwei bis vier Stunden. Fünfmal im Jahr gibt es Intensiv-Probensamstage und einmal im Jahr Intensiv-Probentage im Allgäu. Der Chor hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, anspruchsvolle Chorliteratur verschiedener Stilepochen zu interpretieren. Dabei möchte er sich bewusst von vielen Klischees wenig kultivierten, schulchormäßigen Singens distanzieren und ist bei der Programmgestaltung darauf bedacht, dies auch nach außen hin sichtbar und hörbar zu machen. „Popularmusik“ ist Bestandteil, jedoch auf keinen FAll substanzieller Grundsatz der musikalischen Arbeit.
