The group is formerly known as Chorus Leviticus, from the word "Frisco" it means San Francisco Del Monte, it is a small town founded by our patron San Pedro Bautista during 1590, the group is comprised of mostly students, out of school youth, young professionals and music enthusiast from the Parish Youth and Music Ministry of Archdiocesan Shrine of Santuario De San Pedro Bautista in Quezon City,which is also known as one of the oldest church in the Philippines and the provincial house of the Franciscans. As our patron saint San Pedro Bautista, a Franciscan missionary, a saint who lived in our community, and who was the first missionary to teach liturgical music to local children and organized church choirs in the Philippines. We are living with his mission and envision ourselves with his aspiration, by offering our God given talents, and exploring our talents in different genres of music. In this performance I have sung the first part of the or...  moreSei Lob und Preis mit Ehren, a chorus from the cantata "Lobe den Herrn meine Seele" by Philipp Heinrich ErleBach (1657-1714), based on the melody published in Johannes Kugelmann's 1540 collection. In this performance I have sung the first part of the original melody (as countertenor) followed by the ErleBach setting (as the dwsChorale - one-man multitrack choir). I have added trills to the dotted crotchets in the unannotated violin parts, since these seem to be appropriate, and I have also added my own bowings. (Strings and harpsichord are Garritan samples).  less
