We all love, we all hate, We all hope, and we all dream. We are one world, one people. And we all breathe the same. A tribe of many languages, A group of many heartaches, Fighting for peace among the land. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, si-si ni moja. Heja, heja, we are one. We all want, we all need, We all seek passion, we all seek joy. We all bruise, we all scar, we all fail, but learn to thrive. We are one world, one people. And we all breathe the same. In the darkness of the night and in the glory of the morning We walk along the path and find our way. Now we stand here together and lift our hearts in song To the rythm of this moment in our lives: We are one. Members of the choir come from many parts of the UK for intensive weekends of music-making, culminating in concerts acclaimed for their invigorating choral sound, clarity of tone and texture, and innovative programming. In June 2010 Harmonia Sacra were invited to perform a programme of music by early seventeenth-century English Recusant musicians (including William Byrd, Richard dering and Peter Philips) for a Swansea University History conference at Oystermouth. The concert featured a unique and rare exhibition of seventeenth-century books and music...    lass="view_less_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

The group's first piece—William Byrd’s “This sweet and merry month of May”, whose ending celebrated Queen Elizabeth I with the words And greet Eliza with a rhyme: O beauteous Queen of Second Troy, Take well in worth a simple toy. provided a great name for the group. Eliza’s Toyes was born, and existed every summer in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2008, a fair number of singers who were in Eliza's Toyes are living in Madison once again. Thus we gather, outside of the Festival, for the joy of music making. It is our pleasure to continue sharing this wonderful body of music with you for the second year!  lass="view_less_link" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less
