Mandskoret of 1914 are a group of adult, personable men who like to sing, from the experienced to the new singers. Mandskoret av 1914 Mandskoret er en usedvanlig sprek 100 åring, og er Haugesund eldste mannskor. I Mandskoret av 1914 er vi en gjeng med voksne, omgjengelige menn som liker å synge – fra de rutinerte, til helt nye sangere. 
 Mannskor mer enn bare sang Det handler om opplevelser knyttet til deltakelse, måten vi tar vare på hverandre og den spesielle sosiale aktiviteten. Just as our concerts display a dynamic diversity in programming and instrumentation, so do our singers reflect marvelous variety. Our members are educators and students, physicians and attorneys, stay-at-home moms, clergy, pilots, corporate executives and professional musicians. Some have sung with the Chorale for more than 30 years – some have sung just a year. A remarkable feature of the group is their willingness to innovate within the choral music. their versatility and the variety of repertoire they face can be seen in the different projects they have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. We are an auditioned chamber choir of 30-40 members who love sharing the joy of choral singing with each other and our community. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much they love learning about the music from our director’s comments, which help them more fully enter into the music and enjoy it.  less
