We are The House Ensemble of The Rockville Bach Academy, Inc, a non-profit organization chartered in Maryland.
Founded in 2011 by conductor Richard Allen Roe, The group first took The name The Advent Project, owing to The Advent repertoire performed on Their first concert. The group has since explored a wide range of repertoire, from Renaissance to Romantic era a cappella music, with a strong emphasis on The cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Modern Belarusian music takes a large part of our repertoire, thanks to that we are happy to open Belarus to oTher nations.

Membership is open to men and women (including High School and College students) of all ages who enjoy singing. New members are always welcome. No auditions required though our director may ask you to sing to verify your placement in The correct voice range. See The Bulletin Board for details. GGCC generally performs at least two concerts per year, a Winter/Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert.

The Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThe... moreThe Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThers”. During our musical season (September – June), The choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 – 9:30 PM at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond. In addition to our weekly practices we usually plan one or two workshops with a choral clinician, as well as evenings with guest directors.
We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. We are very involved with our community and, by giving benefit concerts, help to raise funds for oTher organizations such as The Richmond Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Foundation and Tim Horton’s Kids Camps.
