FounDed in 2003 our musical journey takes us from Jazz to soul, pop to singer/songwriter. We are not professional singers but each of us has a very musical background and we use every opportunity to further our musical horizon, especially in terms of timbre and dynamics. Strong influences are the scandinavian contemporary choir scene led by Vocal Line, Bobby McFerrin, Take 6 and many more. Enjoy!

The choir's mission is to nurture Bulgarian talent and instill a love for choral art among young individuals aged 16 to 35. It honors Bulgaria's choral traditions while occasionally embracing contemporary trends in choral performance, employing techniques like body percussion and mise-en-scène to enhance their Vocal craft. FounDed as Pastoral - female chamber choir in 1987, nowadays the Ensemble carries the name of its originator Irina Stiglich. Music from every music epoch will be performed from serious to more pop/contemporary a cappella forms. This Ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester, and satisfies the fine arts requirement when enrolled for a minimum of three semesters.

We have Developed a reputation for excellent performance of interesting and challenging programmes for singers, players and audiences alike. Repertoire spans Vocal works from the eleventh century to the present day including several Baroque present-day premières, with musicians drawn from recognised professional period Ensembles.
