The group is non-auditioned and consists of music majors as well as students from various academic areas. The Singers usually perfrom at least one major work per year. The chorus is under the direction of Dr. J. Steven Walker.

We have developed a reputation for excellent performance of interesting and challenging programmes for singers, players and audiences alike. Repertoire spans Vocal works from the eleventh century to the present day including several Baroque present-day premières, with musicians drawn from recognised professional period Ensembles.

We hebben momenteel 22 leden maar streven in de toekomst naar een ledental van 30 (of meer natuurlijk). Onze leden komen uit Doetinchem, Zutphen, Ulft, Steenderen, Gaanderen, Etten en Megchelen. Het doel van Miracle Sound is om het Barbershopzingen bekend te maken bij een groter publiek maar vooral: plezier maken! Het repertoire bestaat uit evergreens, love- en popsongs, musicals en ballads. Uiteraard allemaal gezongen in Barbershop-stijl, dus zonder muzikale begeleiding!  less

The striking piece contains some jazzy chords...  moreThis composition is based on a text from Alice in Wonderland, which appeals to children and youth choirs directly. The poem has a clear structure (verse – chorus), and the Vocal parts are kept straightforward. The striking piece contains some jazzy chords and humorously unexpected twists. This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.
