In 2024, Elektra expanded its embrace to welcome all adult treble voices, celebrating a diverse and gender-inclusive community of singers. Cassie Luftspring was appointed as Elektra’s new Artistic Director in 2025 following Morna Edmundson’s departure at the end of the choir’s 38th season. Cassie brings her unique vision and expertise to lead Elektra into an exciting new chapter. Elektra is known for its brilliant programming and multidisciplinary initiatives, with collaborative artist Dr. Stephen Smith playing a pivotal role in their spellbinding performances. Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s Choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber Choir.
