You are as likely to hear a Welsh hymn or folk song as an opera chorus, pop hit, spiritual or contemporary Canadian composition. The Orpheus men are all amateur yet deliver a professional engaging performance from memory. Each performance guarantees an emotional ride through familiar, new, rousing, humorous and classic repertoire. Orpheus annually tours BC to enrich smaller communities with choral entertainment. Our choir is made of amateur singers WHO love to make music. The conductor Zafer Gökçer has been conducting the choir since 2011. we love to sing classical, Turkish pop, Jazz and folk music. Anyone WHO love to sing in a mixed choir is wellcome to our choir.
