The group me...  moreMind & Soul is a community choir based at the Maudsley Hospital in South London, which is open to SLAM service users/staff, their friends and carers, local people and anyone who accesses mental health services, as well as those who don't. The group meets every Wednesday evening in the gym at the Maudsley Hospital, 115 Denmark Hill SE5 8AZ between 6-7pm. Our patron is the wonderful Mary King.  

Performed live by Viva, Sandnes Kulturskolekor and recorded in a concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (!) in 2006. Composed by Rolf Løvland, famous from his own works of course, and also the group "Secret Garden". Soloist: Karoline Krogedal

This superb venue has a naturally occurring 5 second reverb, this recording was not enhanced in any way and was taken straight from a JVC HD Camera mixing in Final Cut Pro.

This auditioned choir has 150 adult mixed voices and 300 youth mixed voices rehearsing weekly to bring various masterworks, original pieces, collaborations and new arrangements to the ears of many. Doug Mears is the Artistic Director with Patrick Vaughn as Youth Director. Youth Choruses have two convenient campuses with the professional support of Caroline Crocker and Bonny Tynch and Youth Chorus Directors. Additionally, full time accompanists and music educators meet the rehearsal and music education portions of this semi-professional chorus. FCS is honored to work with renown musicians, conductors and orchestras to present the finest choral programs available. Sometimes we join other choruses to produce even larger musical works. The choral offerings of the Fairfax Choral Society are diverse though always presented after concerted rehearsal and production. Y...    less

The Revelations also has the distinction of making it to the Top 50 Male choirs in the World as listed by the Musica Mundi World Ranking List, presented by the Interkultur Foundation, who are the organizers of the world’s largest choral competitions. The group has and continues to be much in demand as the choir of choice for many couples for the solemnization of their marriage.
