We nurture the incred...  moreSince 1975, ATLANTA YOUNG SINGERS has been at the forefront of the choral art form in metro Atlanta and the U.S., thrilling audiences all over the world with innovative programming, professional performance, and exciting commissions. We nurture the incredible artistic abilities of children, offering excellent coeducational choral and musical training for boys and girls in grades 2-12 in a challenging learning environment that builds self-esteem, confidence, teamwork and leadership.

Over the years, the choir has been led by many talented co...  moreRSU choir Rīga was established in 1951 and for almost 20 years (1967-1986) its conductor was the accomplished professor Jānis Dūmiņš. In 1968, the choir was awarded the status of a National Choir. Over the years, the choir has been led by many talented conductors, e.g. Centis Kriķis, Kārlis Beinerts, Edvīns and Inga Dziļums, Ints Teterovskis, etc. Today the conductors of the choir are Evita Taranda and Zane Zilberte; choir master is Roberts Hansons. The repertoire of the choir varies, as performances include all sorts of music from the time of renaissance to modern music or music written by contemporary artists, e.g. Paul McCartney's oratorio "Ecce Cor Meum" or Czech composer Petr Eben's music "De Circuito Aeterno". The choir has performed in many countries and it has received many awards and international recognition in international competitions. Co-directed by Peter Ness and Asher Farber, with piano accompaniment, the choir requires no auditions, just a love of singing and the ability to carry a tune! We rehearse from September to June on Tuesday evenings in the Bathurst and Finch area. We also perform regularly for seniors at residences in the GTA.
