... moreThis chorus is well-known for everyone who ever sang in the MEPhI Male Choir, since from the beginning of the Choir (in 1956) it has always been among the first pieces for the Choir newcomers (along with Chorus of Men from "The Demon" and Gaudeamus).
This tradition caused another one: in the end of each Choir's anniversary concert, all the former choristers being present among the audience come to the stage and sing these famous choruses together with the main part of the Choir.

Our repertoire ranges from the traditional to the contemporary, from sacred to 'songs from the shows', from Wagner to Rod Stewart. We maintain a good balance of concert and social activities. We practice every Tuesday night from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at Stithians Methodist Chapel. We have made a number of recordings including (with Stithians Ladies Choir) five well known Sankey Albums.
