Based in Adelaide, South Australia, the Chorus exists to provide a platform for young male Adelaide singers to explore ensemble music making and the performing arts through a cappella singing. Membership ranges from middle school through to young adults. Among the ranks of singers are several small ensembles. It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. In recent years, the church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, jazz, gospel, and world music. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in the Covid pandemic. Besides the usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and other special commemorations.
