Text by Janet Loxley Lewis, from "The Selected Poems of Janet Lewis". Recorded live on Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Performed by the Concert Choir ensemble of the Girl Choir of South Florida. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese. Below the gardens and the darkening pines The living water sinks among the stones, Sinking yet foaming till the snowy tones Merge with the fog drawn landward in dim lines. In November 2013 the London Oriana Choir celebrated its 40th birthday. We had some scrumptious cake and sang an impromptu arrangement of the old favourite. Stay tuned for our gala 40th anniversary Concert early next year!

We are singing as the Dawn to Dusk Choir (the name we use when there are members of all 3 Choirs performing). This beautiful song was recorded at our summer Concert at the Friends Meeting House in Gloucester on 17th July 2015. Enjoy!
