Herter, with assistance from Ryszard Gieros and Alfred Stefankiewicz. Almost from the very beginning, it has been afliated with St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw, initially as a boys’ choir. It has performed with many Polish and foreign symphony orchestras. Foreign tours have taken the choir to over twenty countries. It has won numerous awards at international choral competitions, including those in Lecco, Italy (1997), Moscow (2000), Prague (2002, 2003, 2004, 2017), Międzyzdroje, Poland (2004), Warsaw (2013, 2015, 2016), Grójec, Kraków and Łomża (2017). It has also taken part in several television and theatre productions. Jazzva's repertoire consists of many different genres, pop, rock, classical music, jazz, arrangements of folk songs and many more. As experienced choir singers, they are used to singing with as well as without electronic amplification. they also try to incorporate some choreography to their own music, thus making it even more interesting and fun. At the moment, Jazzva is officially the best a-cappella group in Slovenia.
