Under the baton of Giovanni Pasini, Qatar Concert Choir regularly shares the stage with professional instrumentalists from the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Cinemoon Ensemble, and the Doha Baroque Ensemble (the latter two members of the Qatar Philharmonic), and professional Vocal soloists including Felicitas Fuchs, Stefanie Iranyi, Clint van der Linde and Benjamin Williamson. QCC has fast become the principal choir of its kind, not only in Qatar, but in the Gulf region as a whole. less

This 65 to 70 member, mixed-voice Ensemble sings for services in Christ Chapel, for Christmas in Christ Chapel, an annual spring tour, and at special College events. Major city tour destinations have included San Antonio, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Lincoln, and Omaha. Membership is by audition.

By participating in our choir program, youths not only develop new talents ... more Senior's choir empowers youths by providing them with an opportunity to enhance their music literacy skills while addressing the pressing issues of youth unemployment and crime. By participating in our choir program, youths not only develop new talents and improve their cognitive abilities, but they also serve as mentors and positive role models for younger generations.
Our unique approach promotes intergenerational collaboration and fosters a sense of community, ultimately leading to reduced youth unemployment rates and a decrease in crime rates. Together, we can create a harmonious society where music education and social integration go hand in hand.

Overtone singing is a new Vocal technique that allows for singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as choir improvisations and contemporary music. The effect of controlled overtones on the timbre of classical choir compositions is explored with special ear training.

Founded in New ... moreWinner of the 2015 ASCAP/Chorus America award for Adventurous Programming, Choral Chameleon is known for championing New Music for voices within the context of mixed-genre thematic programming and experiments in non-traditional staging.
Founded in New York City in 2008 by Artistic Director Vince Peterson, the organization now encompasses: a roster of professional Ensemble singers, a volunteer chorus of 40-50 adults and an annual week-long Summer Institute in Brooklyn for composers and conductors.
The culture of the organization marries informality, loving support and joyful curiosity, with the expectation of solid and technical musicianship, constant learning and openness toward the unexpected.
