During the 1990s the Chorale helped re-establish this historic church’s secondary role as a center for culture and community. ADC’s artistic success and benefit to the Cathedral community inspired additional collaborations with other Dallas cultural institutions. In 2001 The Cathedral Chorale became the Arts District Chorale, receiving its non-profit 501(c)(3) status in 2004. Arts District Chorale is now a signature all-volunteer ensemble of 60 gifted amateur and professional vocalists from all walks of life which annually presents four large-scale season events and ten to fifteen smaller events in collaboration with the world-class cultural venues of the downtown Dallas Arts District. A joyous exclamation which is set at a wedding, where the groom is being asked: "Where are you hiding the bride". Traditional Sesotho South African traditional music is known for their movement and dancing in their songs, and the UP Youth Choir accentuates this by highlighting the movement in their performance.

The Choir is famous for its amazingly rich collection of fourty-two prizes and awards of different international Choir competitions. The years of 2006 and 2008 were particularly successful for the group, as the 4th Choir Olympics in China and the 5th Choir Olympics in Austria brought twice the Olympic Championship of All-Male Choirs to Pécs. In 2014, the Pécs men fascinated the jury and audience again – resulting an absolute first prize in the Beijing International Competition for Choirs. As a result of the high artistic reputation, the chorus has been invited to make tours in Europe as well as in the US, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and China. Comprised of professionally trained musicians, Innismara is dedicated to the performance of the intimate and hidden treasures of the vocal ensemble repertoire. Well-known for specializing in sacred and secular music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, Innismara also enjoys experimenting with contemporary, pop, jazz and spiritual arrangements as well as exploring the rich folk music of Newfoundland and Labrador.  less

The chorale is an adult auditioned (SATB) community based chorus based in NE Philadelphia. Our current Artistic Director is Gary Eslinger. We perform 2-6 concerts per year at venues throughout the five county Philadelphia area.
