Siempre nos ha gustado afrontar retos musicales en forma de arreglos complicados, créannos, sabemos de lo que hablamos cuando decimos que "Qué manera de quererte" de Luis Ríos con arreglo coral de Jorge A. The ensemble aims to promote artistic excellence in Choral music ranging from classical to popular. It also aims to provide an opportunity for passionate singers to discover the voice as a singing instrument, develop high-level musical skills related to Choral singing, influence Choral music appreciation, develop cultural awareness, use Choral music as a tool for change in building a better community, and finally, to represent Eastern Visayas in both local and international Choral scenes. The Sinirangan believes that everyone can enjoy Choral music and hopes to connect people of diverse backgrounds and ages to this extraordinary art form. This choir is partnered with a non-profit organization called the New York Community Alliance for Sickle Cell Anemia Inc. We plan to use our concert venues for aiding this organization's cause. Our conductor John Hunter II is a young but competent conductor. He received his Master's in Choral Conducting from Mansfield University. PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop music hits. During the performance we heard Choral arrangements of...  moreThe concert "ACH! PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop music hits. During the performance we heard Choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and songs from the musical West Side Story that graced the walls of the Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque musical artistic creations. Jazz musicians performed along with the choir, and the musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement. The more-than-hour-long performance by the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by musicians from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation.  less
