Members of the Choir stem from various renowned Choirs from Prague (Bambini di Praga, Radost Praha and others). The repertoire of Cancioneta Praga is very broad. It includes not only old-time compositions but also Music of the 20th century, as well as carols from around the world and the Czech Republic, a selection of Czech folk songs and folk songs from around the world. The Choir is also able to perform different styles of Music, e.g. pop-Music. Music from every Music epoch will be performed from serious to more pop/contemporary a cappella forms. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester, and satisfies the fine arts requirement when enrolled for a minimum of three semesters.  

Made up of 24 professional singers, with national and international experience as soloists, teachers, conductors, and experts in choral Music, opera, chamber Music, and Musicals. This was the first group to become active at Academia Concerto in 2005 and during this time has made significant projects such as the participation in the Opera "Il Capulletti ed Il Montecchi" by Bellini, with first complete performance in Brazil in São Pedro Theatre - São Paulo, sang the American Musical "Video Games Live" with composer Jack Wall, made a joint presentation with the American Choir "BYU Singers", performed Vivaldi’s "Beatus Vir" RV 579 for two Choirs and orchestra with Madrigal Mackenzie. The Choir has participated in numerous international Festivals and competitions in which it won many gold medals.
