We aim to give two or three Concerts each year, plus a Christmas Concert of music and readings. We are based in The village of Rolleston-on-Dove near Burton-upon-Trent, and draw our members – numbering around 50 at present - from a wide area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.

Since our first Concert in 1995, Orpheus has presented a multi-Concert subscription series each year to great critical acclaim. Orpheus has performed throughout The Dallas-Fort Worth area at venues including The regional conference of The American Choral Directors Association, The Dallas Museum of Art, The Kimbell Museum of Art, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center-Dallas, and numerous public schools. Collaborations over its 30-year history have included Ars Lyrica Houston, Gramophone Award-winning Baroque scholar John Butt, Texas Camerata, jazz pianist Eric Barnes, hand drummer and international percussionist Jamal Mohamed, tanpura player Vatsal Dave, and many oTher outstanding instrumentalists.
