It is often asked to participate in important European events of which the most recent was the enlargement of the EU to 27 member states. The Choir frequently performs with renowned European symphony orchestras and soloists in Brussels and in many capitals and other cities across Europe.

Our name reflects our roots in the telephony and technology sectors as we originally formed as a workplace choir in BT’s Edinburgh offices. We’ve since grown and attracted members from outside of our workplace. Led by Aly Skidmore, our vision from the outset was to build a dynamic performance choir for amateur singers. Under Aly’s musical direction, the choir has developed rapidly and grown significantly in both quality and reputation, receiving wide acclaim. The RingTones have been booked for a wide mix of charity, showcase and corporate events such as the Scottish Rugby Union’s Annual Awards 2015, Eden Festival 2015, the BT Scotland Annual General Meeting, the Scottish Parliament, Sports Relief, the Great Scot Awards 2014. We have also staged our own fundraising performances at venues such as Waverley Train Station, John Lewis Edinburgh and Our Dynamic Earth. The choir’s extensive repertoire covers all periods of Vocal music and the 20th. century, among them choral works composed by R.R. ...  moreFor more than 100 years now the male choir HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen with its 90 singers presents high-quality choir music. The choir’s extensive repertoire covers all periods of Vocal music and the 20th. century, among them choral works composed by R.R. Klein, A. Koerppen, F. Farcas and many others more. Some of the works have been specially composed for HARMONIE Lindenholzhausen. At the same time the choir dedicates itself to oratorioes usually performed together with the female choir “Dzintars” Riga / Latvia. Numerous concert tours and participations in international festivals took the HARMONIE to Austria, the Czech Republic, Egypt, England, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Macedonia, Russia, USA and Wales. In Wales the choir won first prize in the male choir category at the International “Eisteddfod” Llangollen in 1995 and 2007(second prize in 2003). We have a strong Folk influence and a ...  moreWe are an a cappella mixed voice choir of around 35 singers. We started in 2008. We train together in Vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it.
