This is a true community Choir of more than thirty experienced singers representing The professions of music, teaching, engineering, law, civil service, marketing, information technology and journalism. Nearly one-half of The Choir's singers are students from across many disciplines of study. Newman Sound has realized an ever-growing loyal audience, a high local, national and international reputation and a very bright future having established an exciting and eclectic repertoire across The genres of classical, pop and folk including some outstanding arrangements and original compositions by several of The singers within The Choir.  less

However, he managed to leave a lot of song harmonizations and a significant Mass, which is sung by The Choir in The Aghias Triados church of Thessaloniki. From 1969 till now, The Choir continues its work successfully having as its director his elder broTher Vassilis Papakonstantinou, with whom it has given many Concerts in more than fifty cities in Greece and aboard, as well. It has visited Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerlandn, Hungary, Czech, Bulgaria, France etc. It has won first prices and gold metals in Choir competitions. One of The most important parts of Aghias Triados Children's Choir's history is its participation with European Union Youth Orchestra and Vienna's Youth Choir, to The performance (AThens, 1985) of The third Symphony of Leonard Bernstein under The direction of The composer.  less

New members are welcome and encouraged to attend three rehearsals before an informal voice appraisal.
