All interested Singers are invited to schedule an audition for Wednesday January 28th, February 4th or February 11th at 6:30pm. The ensemble, directed by Jason Asbury, is a community chorus based in Brooklyn Heights. The 75-member ensemble meets in Brooklyn and is made up of neighbors who range in skill from semi-professional to newbies! Concerts include well known and little-known masterpieces of choral literature from Early Music to Contemporary composers and commissions by Brooklyn musicians. The International Singers hold a unique status amongst Choirs in France by means of our repertoire and composition. Bringing together very nearly 40 mixed voice Singers all sharing the same passion, they hail from countries from around the world and representative of 4 continents. The repertoire consists principally of contemporary music with anglo-saxon origins and from the very best of musical theatre as seen in London's West End or on Broadway in New York.
