There are three main concerts during the season, typically consisting of Holiday, Classical and Pops music, each performed twice. Are you a singer dedicated to the art of choral music? Do you have other musical or singing experience, recent or years ago, and you wish to join a symphonic choral group that will challenge, delight, and satisfy you musically? The Boycho...  moreFounded in 1962, the Minnesota Boychoir is the oldest boy choir in Minnesota. The Boychoir’s reputation for excellence has brought invitations from local and national music conventions, as well as sporting events and touring Broadway companies. The Boychoir has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Prague Philharmonic, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio, amongst others. This season our choirboys will be featured in Minnesota American Choral Directors Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Golden Finale Concert along with first-time appearances with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Edina Chorale and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church Choir (Orff’s Carmina Burana). Con el tiempo, ésta agrupación tuvo la necesidad de ir creciendo porque las exigencias del repertorio así lo requería, actualmente cuenta con más integrantes de diferentes profesiones la cual comparten con la pasión por la música.
